PERIODIC ELECTRICAL TESTING AND INSPECTION

That this House welcomes the warning by the Electrical Safety Council of the possible risks from electrical wiring, particularly in rented accommodation; notes its recommendation for periodic electrical testing; and urges the Government to make periodic inspection compulsory for rented accommodation.
