The motion
That this House believes that the BBC is wrong to allow the racist and fascist British National Party (BNP) to appear on its political flagship programme Question Time as it will convey a spurious legitimacy to the BNP that it does not deserve and risks normalising this poisonous, abnormal political party; further believes that Question Time is not the forum to scrutinise the odious racist views of the BNP and regards other television formats such as the forensic interview as more suitable for exposing their false and divisive views and signalling their place outside the political mainstream; calls on the BBC to drop the BNP from its programme; and urges all those who believe in equality and who campaign against racism and fascism to unite against the BNP in all communities throughout the United Kingdom.
