AUDIOVISUAL ARCHIVES

That this House congratulates the partnership of the BBC and the British Library in bringing together their vast collection of audiovisual archives to make them more widely available to the public; notes that both institutions will share millions of sound recordings, television and radio footage and photographs; and praises both institutions for developing industry-wide best practice on critical issues including rights management, distribution, digitisation and storage.
