BLACKPOOL TOWER AND WINTER GARDENS SHOWZAM FESTIVAL

That this House congratulates the organisers of Showzam and all their partners on Blackpool's 10-day festival of circus magic and new variety taking place in the world-famous Winter Gardens and Tower, including an exhibition celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of P T Barnum, pioneer of modern entertainment and legendary impresario; and welcomes the festival as an example of how new cutting-edge entertainment can be hosted in celebrated sites of the country's seaside heritage for the enjoyment of visitors and residents alike.
