CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY OLYMPIC ARENA

The motion
at end add `nevertheless applauds the success in 2005 of the bid to host the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games; recognises the fulfilment of the bid commitment to use existing facilities where possible, to build permanent venues only where there is a sustainable business case for post-Games use, and to use temporary facilities for the remaining venues; welcomes the opportunity to showcase first class facilities in London and across the UK including Cardiff Millennium Stadium, Earls Court, Eton Dorney, ExCeL, Hampden Park Lords, Old Trafford, St James' Park, the O2, Wembley Arena, Wembley Stadium, Weymouth and Portland and Wimbledon; and particularly notes the importance of continued cross-party support for the Games.'.
