EUROPEAN COMMISSION AND THE UK DEFICIT
Tabled by Dr David Drew (Labour (Co-op))

The motion
That this House believes that the European Commission has no business in commenting on the UK's budget deficit position, and that its current intervention is totally unwarranted, but indicates the nature of the deflationary policies at the heart of the European superstate with the disastrous introduction of the euro; and welcomes the fact that the Government has had no truck with the European episode of failed economic and monetary union.
