SIR STEVE REDGRAVE AND DIABETES

That this House wishes Sir Steve Redgrave and the rest of the Redgrave crew the best of luck taking part in the 3,000 mile endurance cycle race, Race Across America; commends the team for their ambition to raise £100,000 for the Steve Redgrave Fund and Sport Relief; notes that during the race and training Sir Steve will be using his blog to comment about his experience as an athlete with diabetes using an insulin pump; and thanks Sir Steve for his efforts as a role model showing what diabetics can achieve despite the condition.
