DETENTION OF GILAD SHALIT

The motion

That this House notes the kidnapping by Hamas militants on 25 June 2006 of Gilad Shalit from within Israeli territory; further notes his subsequent removal to the Gaza Strip where he has been detained and deprived of basic human rights ever since; and calls on the Government to do all in its power to secure the freedom of Gilad Shalit.
