The motion
That this House believes that Government data should be published in a machine readable open standards format and that data should be released using a Creative Commons interoperable licence; and further believes that there should be a right to data enshrined in law that will allow access to data from the Land Registry, Companies House and the Environment Agency as well as the integrated business register, all transport data including timetables, fare and real time running information, weather information including observations and forecasts, the postal address register and all UK footpaths.
