FREE SWIMMING IN MANCHESTER

That this House condemns the decision by Labour-led Manchester City Council to reject the Liberal Democrat amendment to Council to protect free swimming for theunder 16s and over 60s through savings from Council propaganda; andnotes that Government funding for free swimming was only intended for a limited period and by rejecting the Liberal Democrat amendment Labour councillors have failed to guarantee free swimming for the under 16s and over 60s.
