PHYSICS TEACHERS AND COCKERMOUTH SCHOOL

That this House congratulates Cockermouth School on its five full-time specialist physics teachers and the consequent success this has had on the number of entrants to physics A-level including 62 pupils in year 12 and a further 40 pupils in year 13; further congratulates Cockermouth School on its physics A-level results for 2010 which included 100 per cent. pass rate, 38 per cent. A*-A and 77 per cent. A*-C; and wishes those pupils now going on to study physics at university every success.
