CARER'S ALLOWANCE

That this House notes with concern that once a carer reaches pension age they are no longer entitled to claim for carer's allowance despite the fact that they remain the carer; recognises that they remain doing the same duties daily despite their pension; and calls on the Department for Work and Pensions to address this matter urgently.
