PRIVATISATION OF NATIONAL AIR TRAFFIC SERVICES

That this House expresses concern at the prospect of privatising the part of NATS air traffic control that remains under public ownership; believes that the announcement has been undertaken without adequate consultation and potentially risks sovereignty, public safety and national security; and urges Ministers not to proceed with privatisation without consulting relevant unions and the wider aviation community and holding a full parliamentary debate.
