25th ANNIVERSARY OF ANGLO-IRISH AGREEMENT

<p>That this House acknowledges the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Anglo-Irish Agreement on 15 November 1985 by the Right Honourable Baroness Thatcher LG OM FRS and the former Irish Taioseach Garret Fitzgerald; recognises that it led to significantly improved relations between the Governments of the UK and the Republic of Ireland; and continues to support the ongoing political objectives of a peaceful, stable and prosperous Northern Ireland, within the UK, in which terrorism is history.</p>
