The motion
That this House notes with disapproval that the five members of the senior management team of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) all receive salaries higher than that paid to hon. and right hon. Members; further notes with astonishment that IPSA occupies lavishly furnished and expensive offices in central London while interfering in the running of less expensive constituency offices of hon. and right hon. Members; observes that IPSA staff are not required to pay for office expenses, nor justify such expenditure, in sharp contrast to the regime which IPSA dictates to hon. and right hon. Members; considers that IPSA is obstructing hon. Members, and their staff, in undertaking the duties for which hon. Members were elected; and urges the Government to take action on the Resolution of the House of 2 December 2010 and also arrange for an independent investigation into the efficiency of IPSA.
