The motion
That this House is opposed to the proposal to remove the mobility component from Disability Living Allowance from those residing in care homes; believes that the provision of assistance should be dependent upon need rather than place of residence; and is concerned that the removal of the mobility component from those residing in care homes threatens the dignity and freedom of the most vulnerable in society.
