GULF WAR 20th ANNIVERSARY 2011

That this House commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Gulf War and the efforts made by British Armed Forces personnel in the expulsion of Saddam Hussein's Iraqi forces from Kuwait in 1991, praising the sacrifices they made and continue to make today, both mentally and physically; notes the evidence from the United States of the effects of Gulf War Syndrome; calls for research to be urgently undertaken in the UK; and congratulates the National Gulf Veterans and Families Association for their tireless social welfare work and campaigning on behalf of Gulf War veterans.
