KEEP TRADE LOCAL CAMPAIGN

That this House recognises that small businesses are not just part of the local community, but are the local community; further recognises that the UK economy is driven by small businesses; notes that between 50 per cent. and 70 per cent. of money spent in the local economy stays in the local economy; and calls on the Government to support the Federation of Small Businesses' Keep Trade Local campaign, which seeks to stem the tide of business closures on the high street.
