EXPORTS AND GROWTH

That this House recognises that the Government has hailed exporting as a potential driver for economic growth; further recognises that exporting offers huge potential for small businesses to grow and that according to a report from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) one quarter of small firms are already exporting; notes that further findings from the FSB show that red tape and bureaucracy are the greatest challenges for small businesses when exporting their products; and calls on the Government to promote effectively the support and Government assistance available to small businesses which want to export.
