Tabled by Mr Elfyn Llwyd (Plaid Cymru) 8 signatures

The motion

That this House remains concerned at the high level of unemployment, currently at 2.5 million; notes research from the Federation of Small Businesses which shows that 44 per cent. of small firms would take on more staff if the Government cut national insurance; and calls on the Government to extend the national insurance contributions holiday to existing firms to create an environment for job creation and help stem high unemployment.
