SOUTHERN CROSS RESIDENTIAL HOMES

That this House notes with concern that the company Southern Cross is once again facing severe financial problems with the risk of the company going into administration putting at risk the residential care of large numbers of elderly people; and calls on the Government to be prepared to intervene to take control of these residential homes and transfer their management to local authority control
