HOUSING FOR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES

That this House notes the significant contribution that the armed forces make to the UK; recognises the considerable progress being made on this issue following the recent statement to this House on the Armed Forces Covenant; and calls on the Secretaries of State for Defence and Work and Pensions to put in place a system by which former members of the armed forces are given priority in allocation of social housing.
