SWANSEA CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

That this House congratulates Swansea City Football Club on gaining promotion to the Premier League; acknowledges the vital part played by the vocal Jack Army in supporting their team throughout the year; further congratulates the directors of the club on their enormous contribution over the last nine years and for saving the club from oblivion; notes that only eight years ago the club avoided relegation from the Football League following a 4-2 last game victory over Hull; and looks forward to the Swans' exciting brand of football having a significant impact on the Premier League next season.
