That this House, having noted with interest the articles by Dr Rowan Williams as guest editor of New Statesman 13 June 2011 on the values of faith-based rather than faith-exclusive big society activity in the arena of international aid and the consolidation of civil society institutions and in the consideration of policy at home `that is not about the poor as objects of kindness but about the nature of sustainable community, seeing it as one in which what circulates - like the flow of blood - is the mutual creation of capacity, building the ability of the other person or group to become, in turn, a giver of life and responsibility', recommends that the media, politicians and the public give attention to the Archbishop'slectures, sermons and books.
