INTERNATIONAL SEAFARERS' DAY

That this House notes that 25 June 2011 is the first InternationalSeafarers' Day; pays tribute to the world's 1.5 million seafarers for the unique and often overlooked contribution they make to the well-being of all; and commends the London-based International Maritime Organisation on its historically important role of setting and maintaining high standards in internationalshipping.
