The motion
That this House notes the gradual decline in deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning in the UK; recognises that there must be no reduction in efforts to reduce fatalities, injuries and long-term illness caused by exposure to carbon monoxide;reminds holidaymakers travelling to Europe and beyond, that the number of recorded deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning overseas is significantly higher than in the UK; and therefore urges travellers to carry an inexpensive, portable carbon monoxide detector with them on their holidays.
