UN REPORT ON GAZA FLOTILLA ATTACK

That this House registers its condemnation of Israel following the publication on 1 September of a United Nations report which declared that the death of nine people on a Turkish vessel, following an attack by Israeli forces on a flotilla carrying supplies to Gaza, to have been unlawful in that the killings were not in self-defence but were an act of extreme brutality by heavily armed troops; and calls on the Government to work with other nations to demand that Israel ceases its acts of aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, East Jerusalem and the occupied territories on the West Bank.
