WIGAN WARRIORS

The motion

That this House congratulates Wigan Warriors on winning the Carnegie Challenge Cup by beating Leeds at Wembley; applauds Lance Todd Trophy winner Jeff Lima andcoach Michael Maguire and pays tribute to the team and coaching staff for the victory following their successful Super League campaign in 2010; notes the iconic status of Wigan in world Rugby League; and welcomes Wigan Borough's 2013 Rugby League World Cup bid.
