Tabled by Mr Gregory Campbell (Democratic Unionist Party) 23 signatures

The motion

That this House notes the bravery and distinguished service undertaken by the armed forces from all across the UK, particularly in recent years in Afghanistan; is acutely aware of the heroism that has been demonstrated time and time again by British men and women serving there; acknowledges that those who paid the supreme sacrifice included Ranger Aaron McCormick, Ranger David Dalzell and Lance Corporal Stephen McKee from Northern Ireland; and calls on the Ministry of Defence to review the system whereby such bravery is acknowledged in order that relatives of the deceased know that the nation cherishes them and will not forget their sacrifice.
