PARLIAMENTARY RECESS: NOVEMBER 2011

That this House notes the ongoing issue of the number of days the House operates; recognises that members of the public are often informed by the media as to how long Parliament is in session and form an opinion on that basis as to the workload of hon. Members; expresses the hope that, following the vote on 19 October 2011 to go into recess from 15 November to 21 November 2011, a recess not normally taken, hon. Members will invite their local media to join them on working days during that recess to see the level of Parliamentary representation that continues when the House is not sitting.
