HRH THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S VIEWS ON WIND FARMS

That this House notes the comments of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh on wind farms; believes that his comments are in line with the views of many residents particularly those in areas blighted by wind farms; and further believes that all future wind farms should be offshore where continuity of supply is more reliable and where they are far less intrusive.
