MR ROBERT MAXWELL AND THE LABOUR PARTY

Tabled by Mrs Edwina Currie (Conservative) 27 signatures

The motion

That this House notes that while Mr Robert Maxwell's Labour supporters were daily lecturing Ministers of the Crown on their moral responsibilities to the sick, the old and the needy, Robert Maxwell, himself, was allegedly siphoning off assets by the hundred million from his employees' pension funds to pump into his own, very private, private companies and high living; and calls on the Opposition to condemn outright its old friend, apologist and Labour Party colleague for this despicable record and humbug.
