UNION FLAG

The motion

That this House notes the proposal that the European flag should be flown when the Union flag is flown; recognises the sovereignty of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; and as such refutes the notion that the European flag is equal and could take pride of place alongside our national flag.
