YEMEN FOOD CRISIS

That this House is gravely concerned by aid agencies' warnings that 10 million Yemenis, 44 per cent of the population, are undernourished and that five million require emergency aid; notes that malnutrition rates have doubled in Yemen since 2009; welcomes the 28 million aid pledged by the Government; regrets that the UN humanitarian aid appeal for Yemen is facing a 166 million shortfall in funding contributions; and urges the Government to work with other nations to ensure that this shortfall is met.
