SUMMER HOLIDAY READING REGIME

That this House is aware of the critical link between early literacy and reading skills for the later development and success of children in their journey through life; and recognises that it is vital that children read or are read to from the very earliest age possible and that in the school holidays it is particularly important for children to engage in reading activities every single day.
