The motion
That this House notes the passing of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon; acknowledges that his place in history is secure and that along with his history-making moment of `One small step for man one giant leap for mankind' were his notable attributes of modesty and shying away from publicity despite the enormous demands that his achievement brought; and further notes that his family roots can be traced back to Northern Ireland in Fermanagh and Londonderry, thus adding to the long list of luminaries such as US Presidents and those who framed the Declaration of Independence many of whom are recognised as of Ulster Scots or Scots Irish descent.
