WOMEN BISHOPS AND THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND
Tabled by Sir Peter Bottomley (Conservative)

The motion
That this House welcomes the continuing engagement of Anglicans with different views on how and when women and men are consecrated as bishops and how all with the calling and thepotential can serve and flourish; would have preferred the deletion of clause 5.1.c. of the draft Measure; and, in the knowledge of the process and of the grace and generosity within the Church, believes that General Synod should now vote for the approval of the Measure.
