BANGLADESH CLOTHING WORKERS

That this House deplores the deaths on 24 November 2012 of more than one hundred workers in a fire at the Tazreen Fashions factory in Bangladesh; stands in solidarity with the tens of thousands of Bangladeshi clothesmakers who filled the streets of Dhaka to demand justice for the dead; and calls on the Bangladeshi authorities to hold to account those responsible for the loss of life and to bring forward tough regulations to prevent such a disaster from occurring again.
