That this House notes the concern expressed as long ago as October 1990 that plutonium was found in 12 samples of plaice, whiting, mussels and silt taken from the seabed off East Sussex; further notes the Nuclear Installation Inspectorate's report on the dangerous state of welds on magnox nuclear reactors; and calls upon the Government to do what is necessary to be able to reassure people that there is no danger from the installations at Dungeness.
