That this House notes that Morecambe Football Club, the Shrimps, invited supporters to watch the game against Dagenham and Redbridge on 8 January 2013 for free; further notes that this is an innovative idea from a forward thinking football club; further notes that 4,029 supporters watched the Shrimps win the game, two goals to one; and calls on broadcasters and the Football Association to invest more money in grass roots football.
