RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONER IN FRANCE

That this House notes that countries like France are forever lecturing other countries on the importance of the independence of the judiciary; and therefore calls on the government of France to practice what they preach and to respect the decision of the French courts to release the political prisoner George Abdallah, a Lebanese citizen, imprisoned in France for the last 28 years.
