Tabled by Lord Mann (Labour)
23 signatures
The motion
That this House is encouraged by the government of Zambia's decision to ban the hunting of lions and leopards in spite of its economic benefits; supports that government's decision to prioritise the viewing of game in their natural habitat over hunting, blood sports or international trade opportunities; is relieved that the government of Zambia has understood the importance of wildlife conservation; and recognises the significance of Zambia as a role model for other African countries.
