The motion
That this House notes that the outcome of the Israeli elections is that Binyamin Netanyahu is most likely to remain prime minister; further notes thatBinyamin Netanyahu is reported to have said that he repudiates international demands for a Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 Green Line with its capital in East Jerusalem; further notes that he is reported to have said that settlement building will continue on occupied lands; condemns these statements by Binyamin Netanyahu if true; and calls on the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs to ascertain the truth or otherwise of these comments and intentions and then to report back to this House.
