RBS AND A BUSINESS BANK

That this House believes that the setting up of a business bank would be an expensive exercise in window dressing; notes that the Royal Bank of Scotland is 82 per cent owned by the taxpayer; and calls on the Government to compel the Royal Bank of Scotland which has already received more than £150 billion in public funding, to perform the function of a bank that will lend to business.
