SWORD BEACH

That this House is appalled that the French tourist industry is issuing maps of the Normandy invasion zone that do not include Sword Beach; and calls on the Government to request that the French tourist industry rectifies this omission and remind it at the same time that the action at Sword Beach was a vital part of the liberation of France which enabled 28,845 men of 1 Corps to land for the loss of 683 British lives.
