SHALE GAS IN BRITAIN

That this House notes with concern that there is a need to support more shale gas production within the UK; further notes that UK firm IGas believes that the UK is sitting on considerably more shale gas than previously estimated; and believes that shale gas could play a key role in the security of domestic energy supplies in the UK for up to 15 years.
