UNION FLAG

That this House rejects the need for a new flag for Northern Ireland; stands four-square behind the Union Flag as the flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; demands that the National Flag is treated with respect and is appropriately recognised throughout Northern Ireland and especially in Belfast; and further rejects all efforts to dilute the status of the National Flag.
