EVINGTON IN BLOOM TEAM SILVER PRIZE IN BRITAIN IN BLOOM COMPETITION

That this House congratulates the Evington in Bloom team winning the silver prize in the Britain in Bloom competition, which celebrates its 50th year; applauds Evington in Bloom's co-ordinator Helen Pettman, Friends of Evington and It's your Neighbourhood Group; acknowledges the support by local ward councillors Deepak Bajaj and Baljit Singh; and thanks the Nineteenth Leicester Scouts and all of the local residents and communities who committed their time to plant seeds and bulbs to brighten and beautify the area.
