TRIDENT RENEWAL

That this House notes that the Chancellor of the Exchequer visited the Faslane Naval Base to announce £500 million of spending; is concerned that this announcement pre-empts a final decision on Trident replacement; and calls on the Government to ensure that any decision on the Trident replacement is subject to a vote on the floor of the House and to announce a timetable for that decision.
