STRATHCARRON HOSPICE

That this House recognises the great achievement of Strathcarron Hospice in being named the UK's Best Health Project for its innovative Hospice@Home service; notes that this service allows terminally ill patients, should it be their wish, to die in the comfort of their own home; believes that Falkirk Hospice's success in gaining the National Lottery Awards public vote shows the regard in which such a valuable and worthy service is held; and further notes that the staff and volunteers provide patients and families the expert care and comfort that is so vital at a very difficult and challenging time.
